The Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Collections officer to support our collections process and assist in fostering positive relationships. The perfect candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and sharp insight, capable of effectively utilizing accounting systems to ensure prompt and efficient collections ensuring that the collections department meets all its goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of the collection process, including setting up and monitoring payment schedules, and reconciling accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships which include time-on-time visits of the stakeholders, understanding procedures, and requirements for collections.
  • Provide support regarding inquiries and concerns on collections, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the internal operations teams as well as external stakeholders to optimize the collection process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collections transactions and communications with given stakeholders.
  • Assist in generating reports and analysis related to collections for management review.
  • Assist the Finance team in managing their bookkeeping duties.
  • Contribute to making Unifi a fun place to work!
Qualifications
  • Work experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in Business Administration/Finance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with collections stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues related to collections.
  • Should be able to frequently juggle multiple tasks and priorities while providing multiple innovative solutions and improved solutions where needed.
